BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF ROBERT L. KLEWITZ

Robert L. Klewitz is the President/Owner of RLK and Associates, which perform real estate and building inspections in the entire Puget Sound area, including residential and commercial properties. RLK and Associates specialize in pre-purchase home inspections for home buyers, sellers, lenders, insurance companies, and real estate professionals. Bob holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and his studies have emphasized construction and building. Bob is a licensed, Professional Engineer in the State of Washington, and frequently attends continuing education seminars on all aspects of home construction and inspection. His entire professional career has been involved with construction, building, inspection, and quality control. He is also a member of several professional organizations, including being a Certified Member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and one of the founders of the Western Washington Chapter of ASHI, formerly known as the Northwest Chapter of ASHI.

·       Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Washington. License No. 20358. 

·       Washington State Licensed Home Inspector. License No. 397. 

·       Holds Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Civil Engineering. 

·       Certified Inspector with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Member No. 7331. Charter member and former officer of the Western Washington Chapter of ASHI. 

·       Only inspector in Washington State that is BOTH a Licensed, Professional Civil Engineer as well as an ASHI Certified Inspector. 

·       Licensed Structural Pest Inspector (SPI) in the State of Washington. License No. 68834. 

·       Has taught educational courses concerning inspections for many years at community colleges and for inspector, real estate, lender, and consumer groups. 

·       Has performed thousands of inspections throughout the Puget Sound area and has been in the home inspection profession for over twenty-four years. 

·       Has been involved in construction, building, inspection, and quality control during his entire professional career.
